Cookie Policy

What cookies the Go Digital platform sets, what they are for and how you can control them.

Last updated 16 September 2026 · Provisional version, pending final approval

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so it can remember you between pages and visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, work in much the same way and are covered by this policy too.

2. How we use them

We keep cookies to the minimum the platform needs. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery and remember security-related settings. The platform cannot work without them, so they are always on.
  • Preference cookies. These remember choices you make, such as a dismissed tour or notice, so we do not show it to you again.
  • Analytics cookies. If we introduce usage analytics, they will be used only in aggregate to understand how the platform is used and improve it, and we will update this policy before doing so.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to set cookies for advertising purposes.

3. Cookies we set

  • Session cookie. Set when you sign in; identifies your session so you stay signed in as you move around the platform. Removed when you sign out or the session expires.
  • Security token. Protects forms and sign-in against cross-site request forgery. Lasts for the session.
  • Preference cookie. Records choices such as a completed onboarding tour so it does not reappear. Lasts up to 12 months.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them or deleting those already stored. Most browsers also let you set preferences for individual sites. If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in or use most of the platform.

Guidance for the most common browsers is available from their own help pages, for example under “Clear, enable and manage cookies” in Chrome, “Cookies and site data” in Firefox, or “Manage cookies and website data” in Safari.

5. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
