Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you register for, browse or offer services through the Go Digital platform.

Last updated 16 September 2026 · Provisional version, pending final approval

1. Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Go Digital, a platform implemented by the Digital Transformation Center Nigeria on behalf of GIZ. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and represent a business or organisation operating in Nigeria.
  • You must give accurate, complete information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • Each account is for one person. Organisations may have several members, each with their own account.

3. Using the platform as an MSME

As an MSME you can browse the catalogue, complete the digital readiness assessment, request services and other offerings, apply for vouchers and ask for support. When you request a service you enter into a direct relationship with the provider; Go Digital is not a party to that engagement and does not deliver the service itself.

Information you give us about your business, including assessment answers and supporting documents, must be truthful. Providing false information to obtain a voucher or subsidy may lead to suspension and recovery of any subsidy paid.

4. Using the platform as a service provider

Service providers, digital solution vendors, innovation hubs and research institutions may list their offerings after completing onboarding and passing our review. By listing, you agree that:

  • your organisation and listing details are accurate and kept current, and you hold any licences or certifications you claim;
  • listings are reviewed before publication and may be edited, unpublished or removed by us if they breach these terms or programme rules;
  • you will respond to requests in a timely and professional manner and deliver what you accept to the standard you have described;
  • you will honour the pricing and any voucher subsidy shown to the MSME at the time of the request;
  • you will not solicit MSMEs away from the platform in order to avoid programme rules.

5. Vouchers and subsidies

Go Digital vouchers are a programme benefit, not a right. Eligibility, subsidy percentages, caps, expiry dates and the services they can be used on are set by the programme and may change without notice. A voucher application may be approved or declined, and an approved voucher may be withdrawn if it was obtained through inaccurate information.

Payment of the subsidised portion to providers is made by the programme’s grant administrator following an approved payment claim. Go Digital does not hold funds, operate a wallet or process payments between MSMEs and providers. Any amount not covered by a voucher is settled directly between the MSME and the provider.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the platform for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
  • post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, abusive or discriminatory;
  • upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its data or other users’ accounts;
  • scrape, copy or redistribute platform content or user data other than as the platform permits;
  • impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your relationship with one;
  • interfere with the platform’s operation or place unreasonable load on it.

7. Your content and our content

You keep ownership of the content you upload, including listings, documents, messages and reviews. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that content as needed to run the platform and the programme, including in aggregated reporting.

The platform itself, including its design, text, graphics, logos and software, belongs to Go Digital and its partners or licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without permission, except for the incidental copies your browser makes to display it.

8. Disclaimers

We review providers and listings but do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or outcome of any service, product or resource offered through the platform, and we do not guarantee that any provider will accept a request. Recommendations from the readiness assessment are guidance, not professional advice. The platform is provided “as is” and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Digital, GIZ, the Digital Transformation Center Nigeria and their partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for any dispute between an MSME and a provider, arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you breach these terms, programme rules or the law, or if the programme ends. Where practical we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content licences, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before taking any formal step, both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting us first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or a notice on the platform, and the date at the top of this page will show the current version. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
